Youth Workshops
Thank you for your interest in our Youth Workshops! The Seattle Architecture Foundation is currently transitioning away from our weekend youth workshops to focus on school programming that reaches more students in the greater Seattle area. See our Educators & Schools page to learn more about hosting an SAF workshop at your child's school.
Below, we've included a number of local courses for youth who are interested in architecture and design. We encourage you to explore these programs as an option for your child.
If you are a representative of an architecture, design, or engineering firm that would like to host a weekend youth workshop in partnership with SAF, please contact SAF Program Manager Gwen Lennox at gwen@seattlearchitecture.org. University of Washington - Youth & Teen Summer Programs
- Middle School - Introduction to Architecture
- High School - Architectural Studies
- Ages 10–15 - Rotating architecture courses throughout the year
Northwest School - Summer Camps
- Architectural courses as part of summer camp offerings
National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) NW
- Project Pipeline Summer Camp for 6th–9th grade students of color
- High School Summer Intensive
Architecture Construction Engineering (ACE) Mentor Program
- After school, year-long mentorship
- Free summer camp for girls in grades 7–10 in various construction trades
