Youth Workshops

Our youth workshops encourage students to tackle social, environmental, and engineering challenges. With an extended emphasis on more conceptual issues and demanding architectural concepts, these workshops are perfect for older students. Hosted at Seattle-area architectural offices, SAF staff and volunteer architects support participants as they plan, build, and present solutions to imaginative and thought-provoking design challenges.

(Youth ages 10-16, no chaperone necessary)

We offer need-based scholarships for all SAF Youth Programs. For details about scholarships, email info@seattlearchitecture.org.

Summer Programs

SAF partners with local organizations to offer summer programming for youth ages 10-16. Our classes focus on the architectural process, guiding students from initial conception to final model. Programs can range from one to two weeks depending on the host.

During the summer of 2023, SAF will offer architecture and design classes through partnerships with Coyote Central and the Northwest School.
