The 1962 World’s Fair brought international attention to Seattle and the city prepared by creating a fairground that still hosts some of its most iconic structures. The impact was not a temporary one; Seattle Center continues to thrive today as a destination for locals and tourists to enjoy the arts, events and unique architecture created for the fair.
