Architecture is more than just design details; it’s about the stories of people and communities who inhabit the built environment. We invite you to celebrate Pride Month with our Queer Spaces Series, hosted in collaboration with Space.City Seattle. On June 14th, join Space.City for a lecture featuring artist, designer, and author Adam Nathaniel Furman and his work that brings queer history to life through innovative design and bold aesthetics. After the lecture, enjoy a free reception and book signing of Adam’s book Queer Spaces: An Atlas of LGBTQ+ Places and Stories. Copies will be available for purchase courtesy of Charlie’s Queer Books.

On June 15th, join the Seattle Architecture Foundation for Queer Capitol Hill: A Historic Walking Tour. You’ll explore the places and stories that have shaped queer Seattleites’ experiences over several decades of activism, celebration, and community connections.
