SAF is excited to host you at the Center for Architecture and Design for a special members-only mixer! Mingle with like-minded architecture and design enthusiasts and get updates on what’s happening at SAF. You’ll also have the chance to view our 26th Annual Model Exhibit, CommUNITY, and hear from Greg Gettman of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson about BCJ’s featured model, Bellevue Fire Station 10. This project is Bellevue’s first new fire station in nearly 30 years. It restores a compromised wetland and remediates a brownfield site. Balancing security with public areas, Bellevue Fire Station 10 provides opportunities for community engagement, such as an entry gallery showcasing artifacts from Bellevue Fire’s history. Greg’s presentation will be followed by a Q&A. Light refreshments provided.
