Exclusive Tour: University District Station Building

USDB: The Office Tower with a Perfect Transit Score

Originally known as “Brooklyn Station” during early planning stages, U District Station is located at the heart of the University District, two blocks from the University of Washington campus. The station opened in Fall 2022 and is served by the Link light rail system. But that’s only half of this tour’s story.

The University District Station Building, or USDB, is a brand new 13-story, 266,000-square-foot office building that sits atop the subterranean station, providing unmatched transit access. Join us for an exclusive tour of the building before it opens and learn how UW and Sound Transit worked together with development partners IREC and Lincoln, designer Perkins&Will, and general contractor GLY to conceive and deliver USDB while keeping the public safe and the station fully operational. Offering unique health and wellness components, a rooftop amenity space with sweeping Seattle views, and a public pocket park, USDB is the first project to be built as part of UW’s West Campus development plan and will be home to over 900 UW employees. At this event, you’ll hear from project partners, tour the building, and enjoy light refreshments.

For the total experience, ride the Link light rail 1 Line to and from the event. Visit Sound Transit for U District Station maps and schedules.
