Structural Engineers Foundation of Washington Annual Forum

Thursday, November 16th, 2023 | 6:00pm | In-person & Online

SAF is proud to be a cooperating organization of the Structural Engineers Foundation of Washington’s 13th Annual Fall Forum, Spaces that Inspire: The Architecture and Engineering of Gathering.

The act of “gathering” is critical for organizations, populations, and communities—a truth that felt especially important in the midst of a global pandemic and which led architects, engineers, contractors, and designers to think about how the act of gathering fosters learning, collaboration, and community. Join SEFW to explore how architecture, structural engineering, and construction all play a critical role in the design of spaces that help us gather together. Hear from Mark Reddington of LMN Architects, Derek Beaman of Magnusson Klemencic, and Jeff Blosser, President & CEO of the Seattle Convention Center, about Summit, the 1.5-million-square-foot site that nearly doubled the SCC’s meeting space.

This is a free event made possible by donations to SEFW. Join in person at Benaroya Hall or virtually.
