Design in Depth Lecture Series Volunteer

The committee produces programming that increases public understanding and appreciation of architecture and design through a variety of lectures, panels, forums and one-time presentations designed to stimulate conversation and engage the community. This committee meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month, 6:00-7:30 PM.

What is Expected of a lecture series volunteer?

Volunteers are responsible for developing and implementing all aspects of the lecture series and related programs including lecture planning, event planning, and marketing. Once speakers and theme are selected, volunteers work in groups of two or more to support individual lectures, with support of the Committee Chair (s) as needed.
The Committee meets once a month. Volunteers are also needed on program days.

Required Training or Skills:

  • Attend scheduled meetings.
  • Be reliable- our programs depend on volunteers to make each event a success.
  • Demonstrate good humor and be a positive representative of SAF.
