In 2009, we launched our first event for young people ages 11 - 15 years old.
On a Friday evening for four hours we looked at how to solve social issues through design.
Design professionals worked with young people in a design charette through a collaborative process.
Each team researched, planned and finally built a model to represent their own solutions surrounding homelessness, sustainability and self-sufficiency.
